Should I read books?
You’re asking the wrong guy. My answer is definitely, yes. If you ask me why, then I am going to wing it. There are people out there who are better in answering that question. For me, it’s just a hobby. Since, it is a hobby, I am having a conflict of interest in convincing you. But here goes.
Most of my friends who I considered success read (a lot of) books. Most people I admire, read a lot of books too. Coincidence? I think not. But is it a causal relationship. That needs to be discussed.
If you read a lot of books, chances are you get something out of them. Statistically, that is. Say, you get or understand 1% of what you read. If you read 100 books, then you would get an equivalent of 1 book. Ha. If you read 1000 books, then you have an understanding of 10 books. Not bad. Since you read a lot, you should also develop a skill of picking things up. So, I think 1% will increase as you read more books. But that’s just my unproven theory.
I am showing a lot of books in my YouTube videos. Well, because I can. I can’t show you a lot of cars because I don’t have a lot of cars.
If I read a lot of books does that mean I am smart? No, it means … well, you just read a lot of books. Ha ha ha.
